Hotel Booking Terms


  • All rates are quoted valid for the dates stated on the rate sheet and are subject to the following terms and conditions.
  • Rates are quoted per person per day, unless otherwise specified in the rate sheet.
  • Once deposits have been paid, all rates are guaranteed for the dates / periods confirmed.
  • Guests remain liable for the full accommodation account in case of an early departure for whatsoever reason. Full payment for December & January peak season reservations to be made by 30 November and no early arrivals or late departures allowed during this time. We reserve the right to insist on correct rate being paid if error on accommodation invoice is detected even after deposit payment has been made. If guest does not agree to pay in the difference, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and refund full amount back to guest without any further obligation from the Hotel owner and or staff to find other suitable / similar accommodation on behalf of the guest. Diaz Hotel has the right to cancel any reservation automatically after 48 hours without notice if NO deposit is received.
  • All rates include 15% V.A.T. and a Tourism Levy. Should the government increase any of these then the hotel reserves the right to increase the rates.
  • All rates are quoted in South African Rands and foreign currency payments are accepted at the daily bank rate of exchange valid in South Africa on the date that payment is received.
  • Please note that arrival time is 14H00 and departure time is 10H00. Should you require a late departure or early arrival, please notify us so that necessary arrangements can be made. An additional charge may be levied for requests for early check-in or late check out. 
  • Minimum stay of 5 nights will be required for reservations during the December / January peak season.
  • In order to confirm your provisional reservation, a 50 % deposit is required within 48 hours after provisional reservation has been made. Your provisional reservation will be cancelled if proof of payment is not received within this set time frame and without prior notification.
  • We will never change our banking details via e-mail. Please ignore any advices with regards to amended banking details which appear to come from our offices. Should you have any queries, please contact our offices and speak to the person concerned before making any payments. Should you make payment based on a fraudulent e-mail, our offices cannot be held responsible for any losses incurred and will you still remain liable to pay amount due to the Hotel.

Beach Club Booking Terms


  • All rates are quoted valid for the dates stated on the rate sheet and are subject to the following terms and conditions.
  • Rates quoted are per unit per day. Maximum occupancy per unit may not be exceeded.
  • Once deposits have been paid, all rates are guaranteed for the dates / periods confirmed.
  • Guests remain liable for the full accommodation account in case of an early departure for whatsoever reason. Full payment for December & January peak season reservations to be made by 30 November and no early arrivals or late departures allowed during this time. We reserve the right to insist on correct rate being paid if error on accommodation invoice is detected even after deposit payment has been made.   • Rates quoted for Beach Club units excludes servicing of units and or any meals.

    An inventory list must be completed and returned to Hotel Reception within one hour of your arrival. Failure to comply will result in guests being held responsible for any breakages / shortages in the unit.

    As the apartment building’s passages are all open, we kindly request guests to keep noise to a minimum when entering and or exiting the building.

Cancellation Policy


  • In the event of cancellation, the following rules shall apply. Cancellation and/or amendments must be made via e-mail and will attract the following charges:
  • Buffalo Rally Weekend, Easter & Long Weekends, School Holidays: 100 % cancellation fee regardless how long in advance cancellation notice received. Full refund will only be permitted if Country goes under “hard lockdown” i.e. no leisure / inter-provincial travel allowed and NOT if area is declared a “hotspot” area, or for any other reason.
  • 20% administration fee on all cancelled bookings.
  • 25% if booking cancelled 22 to 31 days prior to arrival.
  • 50% if booking cancelled 15 to 21 days prior to arrival.
  • 75% if booking cancelled 8 to 14 days prior to arrival.
  • 100% if booking cancelled 0 to 7 days prior to arrival.

Privacy Policy


  • We respect our clients' privacy and are committed to protecting it.
  • Any and all data / information collected will never be resold, rented, transferred, made available or misused. It is used mainly (but not limited to) for the operation of our services and account management.
  • Please also review the Privacy Statements of all external links.
  • We may collect your personal information, location, IP address, e-mail address, contact numbers, credit card details as well as billing, shipping address, hardware and software details. Credit Card details are never stored on our servers.
  • We may use your e-mail address to send you updates and information from time to time. We do not, however, operate time consuming mailing lists.
  • We may access and/or disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in any case where such action is necessary / warranted.
  • Any or all information may be stored on servers outside of South Africa. By using this site you acknowledge and consent.

    Restrictions include, but are not limited to the following:
    1. Our Services may be used only for lawful purposes. This agreement is subject to the laws of the user’s residing country.
    2. Transmission, distribution or storage of any material on or through our services in violation of any applicable law or regulation is prohibited.
    3. You may not violate intellectual property rights, patents, trademarks, service marks, trade name or trade secrets. Copyright Laws will be strictly adhered to.
    4. You may not misrepresent yourself, your affiliation with any third party or your entity.
    5. Any misuse of The Hotel website's resources that disrupts the normal use of the system is strictly prohibited. You will also be held responsible and liable for any and all damages that result from such abuse. Examples of such abuse include, but are not limited to, consuming excessive amounts of main memory or CPU for long periods of time, spawning many processes that consume resources etc. Any attempts to penetrate The Hotel's security by password filtering, mining hacking etc. will result prosecution and the subsequent notification of the appropriate law-enforcement and government agencies. Also including but not limited to employing applications that consume excessive CPU time, memory or storage space.
    6. You may NOT link directly to any graphics or part of our Web Site.
    7. You may not use The Hotel's website / services in any manner that may damage, overburden or disable any of our sites / services.
    8. You may not use any device, process or mechanism to monitor, retrieve, search or access the Site or any material without our prior written consent.
  2. Personal Information
    The Hotel is committed to protecting your privacy. The Hotel will never sell personally identifiable information about you or your business to any third party without first receiving your permission, and all uses of any personally identifiable information about you or your business will be subject to our Privacy Policy.
